Munitibar - Population

Munitibar has 423 inhabitants. It holds around 20% of the population of the Lea Valley.

Following the tendency of many rural towns in the area, in the 70s and 80s Munitibar´s youth left for the industrialised cities nearby in search of jobs. Munitibar is the town which has lost more inhabitants in the whole valley. If we compare the current data with the data of the beginning of the century, we will notice that the population has decreased to a third.

In the last few years, though, the number of inhabitants has risen.
